worse than piracy: vampiracy

I am utterly and all-encompassingly now into the Mountain Goats. Sometimes I hear an album for the first time and instantly know I am going to listen to it for the rest of my life. Such has it been with Nick Drake, Weezer, Lincoln, TMBG. It wasn't obvious with Radiohead, Pedro the Lion, or Soul Coughing. The Mountain Goats rock the corporeal plane in a big way for me and it just seems like they're a keeper.







I'm done for the quarter. It's spring break until March 28^th. More running. I tend to listen to Pedro the Lion's song about wife-murder, 'Never Leave a Job Half Done', before I run. The sheer arrogance and self-satisfaction the singer emotes gets me so angry (and also it rocks)!
