I am the germ of a new insanity

Since my mouse batteries exploded, I have had to use THIS extensively.
Last night I cooked a fabulous dinner for myself. I don't think I've ever been prouder of what few culinary skills I posess. It was sauteed chicken, onions, and mushrooms in a white wine sauce along with broccoli and pasta in a white wine cream.
Josh was supposed to call me Wednesday to go on a bike trip and pick up a DVD burner. I did not expect him to call and I was not disappointed. I had talked to him last night before Jaymee called me; I had been looking for generalized relationship advice. He eventually called me to complain about people being unreliable but it was difficult to hear him because I started choking, never before having attempted to swallow so much irony at once before. So when he got another call and he said he'd call me right back, I knew he wouldn't. I hopped on my bike and just rode over to MILO, because I wasn't done talking with him.
I ate leftovers from the best dinner EVAR at his place while he chatted it up with guests. When they left and he started watching kung-fu, I left to talk with Anthony about Jaymee (what is this, high school?). When I knocked on his door, to my surprise, Abby and Jaymee were in there with him. So I awkwardly hung out there for a while: no one's talking, everyone knows I put the brakes on Jaymee yesterday, I'm thinking people are pissed. Eventually I just leave, trying to get my head out from what appears to be a crazy situation.
So when I get home and start reading math, I'm surprised when I get a happy-sounding phone call from Jaymee replete with pleasantries and audible smiles. It seems she hadn't yet read the email I'd sent her. In her presence today, she thought I had been mad, I thought she was, a la your favorite situational comedy. We clarified some matters, stated some positions, and all appears kosher. Fin.
