Nice and rainy for my run today. It's funny -- whenever I feel uncomfortable when I run, due to weather, clothing, abrasion, etc., I just think back to my first race. Nothing can hold a candle to the incredible discomfort I ran through then, which makes anything I do now seem paltry by comparision. It reminds me of the adage: if you eat a live frog first thing in the morning, nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.
