If I say yes to you, who could I say no to?

HERE is a fantastic interview with Gene Wilder.

We had an OK first day of class. The number theory course was a wash: there were high school students in it. And what's worse, high school teachers. They learn even less reliably. So none of that for me.

Complex analysis is pretty low-level, but 1) this is the summer and 2) McIntyre teaches it and he's always fun. This gives me more time to better quasi-order. And learn Riemannian geometry from Fabrizio.

Caitlin, Steve, and Emily visited. We hung at MILO, burned things, went to Panini's and played erotic touch-screen video games (which were highly unerotic), and played cards. Good to see everyone. I took plenty of pictures, but Fab left the cord that transfers them to the computer in New York. So we'll have to find another at some point.
