a beautiful day in the neighborhood
Won't you be mine?
I woke up around 7, stretched forever, picked raspberries, and stopped by the grocery store to buy the things we forgot yesterday. Topological Ramsey theory until I fell back asleep. I nearly electrocuted myself on my newly installed air conditioner because it was tilted incorrectly and condensed water was tricking INTO the apartment. Fab took me out for delicious Indian food for lunch. I ate more than I wanted to but I rarely allow myself the luxury of Indian, so I had difficulty restraining myself.
Raegan invited us to go to the wine festival at the North Market. They kept buying me little samples of wine because it's my birthday: now that's presents! Much, if not all of it was locally grown and produced, which kind of puts an upper limit on the quality but after enough it's hard to tell anyway. The best I tasted was called 'Viking White'.
Thanks to everyone who called today. It's just great to hear from everyone. I live in a tiny, self-induced, insular world and I sometimes forget the perspective necessary to appreciate all the people I have in my life because I focus so much on what I do. I'm glad anyone can remember things like this, since god knows I have trouble. All the best!
