Gog and Magog

Whatever else it may be, I think Forrest Gump is the greatest running movie of all time. I know intellectually that it's a piece of corporate nonsense artfully designed to tug on our heartstrings in order to make money. Nonetheless, the scenes of Forrest running are some of the most awe-inspiring and conscience-inducing in cinema for me, whatever their dubious origin.
